This is the fifth international symposium by the auspices of Technical Committee 105 (Geomechanics from Micro to Macro) of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE).

ANZ 2023 is a regional conference of the ISSMGE, aiming to connect professionals and help develop the next generation of geotechnical leaders through session presentations to stimulate technical discussion. The conference will focus on helping society achieve a safe, prosperous and sustainable future.
